{"id":502,"date":"2020-10-02T10:30:34","date_gmt":"2020-10-02T09:30:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/our-food-staging.flywheelsites.com\/?p=502"},"modified":"2020-11-26T17:15:05","modified_gmt":"2020-11-26T17:15:05","slug":"norton-and-yarrow","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/our-food.org\/cy\/norton-and-yarrow\/","title":{"rendered":"\u2018Norton &amp; Yarrow\u2019: mentro i fyd cadw geifr a gwneud caws"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<h2>Gwobrwyon aur ac yn talu costau o fewn dwy flynedd gyntaf y busnes.<\/h2>\n<p>Nid peth hawdd oedd rhoi\u2019r gorau i yrfaoedd ym maes technoleg ffonau symudol a dysgu i gadw geifr a gwneud caws, ond mae Fraser Norton a Rachel Yarrow yn fodlon gyda\u2019u penderfyniad i fentro.<\/p>\n<p>Ers misoedd cynnar 2016, mae\u2019r cwpl wedi bod yn cynhyrchu caws geifr ger Shillingford yn Ne Swydd Rhydychen, a bellach mae ganddynt fuches o 12- gafr ac yn meistroli\u2019r grefft o wneud caws, yn ogystal \u00e2 meithrin cleientiaid o ran y farchnad ar gyfer caws crefft.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c\u2019Dwi mor falch mai ni sy\u2019n rheoli pob agwedd ar y busnes,\u201d meddai Fraser. \u201c\u2019Dwi\u2019n hoffi\u2019r ffaith ein bod yn cynhyrchu rhywbeth sy\u2019n cael ei fwyta gan bobl ac maen nhw\u2019n rhoi adborth inni arno.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Cafodd y busnes hwb cynnar trwy ennill gwobr ar gyfer y \u201cCaws Newydd Gorau\u201d yn ystod Noson Gwobrwyo Caws Crefft yn Ebrill 2017. Yn 2019 lansiwyd caws newydd Brightwell Ash, ddaeth yn ail yng nghategor\u00efau Caws Geifr Gorau a Chaws Newydd Gorau Gwobrwyon Caws Crefft y flwyddyn honno.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-504\" src=\"https:\/\/our-food.test.properdesign.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/gold-awards-and-breaking-even-1-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"nortonandyarrow-1\" width=\"900\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"https:\/\/our-food.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/gold-awards-and-breaking-even-1-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/our-food.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/gold-awards-and-breaking-even-1.jpg 750w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Mae Fraser a Rachel yn rhentu tir a gofod mewn ysgubor gan Earth Trust, elusen amgylcheddol sy\u2019n helpu entrepreneuriaid sy\u2019n methu fforddio\u2019r prisiau uchel am dir i gychwyn busnesau ffermio cynaliadwy. Trwy Earth Trust maen nhw\u2019n cael cysylltiad gyda chynhyrchwyr bach eraill megis ffermwyr moch a defaid, sy\u2019n cefnogi ei gilydd trwy rannu cynnyrch, megis gwair dolydd blodau gwyllt a\u2019r maid o laeth geifr Fraser a Rachel.<\/p>\n<p>Mae\u2019r cwpl wedi codi arian ar gyfer eu costau byw trwy ryddhau rhywfaint o\u2019r ecwiti ar eu cartref tra bo\u2019r busnes yn cychwyn, ac erbyn diwedd 2017 roedden nhw\u2019n talu eu holl gostau.<\/p>\n<p>Roedden nhw\u2019n annog unrhyw un sy\u2019n ystyried cychwyn ffermio ar raddfa fach i wneud digon o waith ymchwil yn y cychwyn cyntaf.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMae angen llunio achos busnes ac ystyried holl agweddau ar ochr ymarferol y busnes,\u201d meddai Fraser.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSiaradwch \u00e2 phobl sydd eisoes yn ei wneud.
